Of the many comments I got about my travel writer website, the one that sticks in my mind is this:

'I like your site because it's simple, attractive and so easy to navigate. There are no flashy intros, and no waiting for gimmicks to load.'

In my experience a site that is too complicated, or takes too long to get the info you are looking for can put off potential customers. With so much to choose from, other sites are just a click away. So it's important to keep the customer at your site by giving them what they want at the click of a button, and not make them wait.

People then begun asking if I could design a site for them, and I soon realised there was a market for the small to medium sized business who wants a simple attractive website which doesn't cost a fortune. This prompted me to start up the website & graphic design department of my company.
